This Privacy Policy explains how SK VPN ("SK VPN", "the application", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when the account owner and explicitly invited family members use the application, its private network tunnel, and its Google Drive backup features.
SK VPN is a private, non-commercial application operated by a single individual account owner. It is not a public platform: there is no public registration, no marketplace distribution, and no advertising. This website, including this policy, is publicly readable without any login.
The account owner operates SK VPN and acts as the data controller for the information processed by the application. The owner can be reached at salaisystem20@gmail.com.
Google LLC and other providers named in this policy process certain data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. SK VPN does not control those providers' practices.
SK VPN is built to process as little personal information as possible. The categories of information that may be processed are:
When you connect a Google Account, we receive the email address associated with that account and a stable account identifier. These are used to show which account is connected, to store backups under the correct account, and to prevent a backup from being written to the wrong Drive.
After you approve the consent screen, Google issues an access token and a refresh token to the application. These credentials are stored only on the owner's own devices in an access-controlled configuration file, are never transmitted to any server operated by us, and are never shared with other users.
The application reads the folders that the owner explicitly selects for backup, packages them into archives, and uploads them to the owner's own Google Drive. The application does not scan, index, mine, or analyse file contents, and does not send file contents anywhere other than the owner's Drive account.
The application writes local log files recording things such as start and end times, byte counts, exit codes, and error messages. Logs are used only for troubleshooting and operational verification. They are kept on the owner's own machines and are not uploaded to any analytics service.
We do not collect contact lists, calendars, Gmail contents, location data, advertising identifiers, biometric data, health data, or payment information. We do not operate user accounts, cookies for tracking, or third-party analytics on this website.
SK VPN requests access to Google APIs only to perform the backup and restore operations requested by the account owner. The specific permissions and their purposes are listed on the home page and summarised here:

Where the GDPR or comparable law applies, the legal bases are the performance of the requested service, the owner's consent (which is given through Google's consent screen and can be withdrawn at any time), and legitimate interests in operating and securing the application.
SK VPN does not sell or share personal information. Data is disclosed only in these narrow situations:
No advertising networks, data brokers, analytics companies, or AI model providers ever receive data from SK VPN.
All communication with Google and with the private tunnel endpoint is encrypted in transit using TLS. OAuth tokens and configuration files are stored on the owner's own machines with operating-system file permissions restricted to the owner's user account. Website requests to this site are served over HTTPS only.
The private tunnel uses modern authenticated encryption. Device access requires the owner's own credentials and, where configured, SSH key authentication. The application does not expose an open endpoint to the public internet.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe the connection has been compromised, revoke access immediately at myaccount.google.com/permissions and contact the owner.
Backup archives remain in the owner's Google Drive until the owner deletes them. Backup jobs may keep a limited number of recent archives and remove older ones automatically; the owner can change or disable that retention at any time.
OAuth tokens remain stored locally until the owner disconnects the account or revokes access. Operational logs are rotated and kept only as long as needed for troubleshooting. Temporary staging files created during a backup are deleted immediately after the archive is uploaded.

Because the owner controls both the application and the target Drive account, deletion requests can be fulfilled without contacting any third party.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information processed about you, request its correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and request a portable copy of your data. Requests can be sent to salaisystem20@gmail.com and will be answered within a reasonable period.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The application is operated from the owner's private devices. Data may be stored in Google data centres located in other countries depending on your Google Account settings and your location. Google applies its own safeguards to those transfers. SK VPN does not operate its own servers and does not create additional international transfers beyond those inherent in using Google Drive and the network path between the owner's devices.
SK VPN is not directed to children and is not offered to the general public. It is used only by the account owner and explicitly invited family members who are old enough to hold their own Google Account under Google's terms. We do not knowingly collect information from children beyond the account information of an invited family member.
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not embed third-party trackers, pixels, or social plug-ins. The pages are static and are served from a content delivery network, which processes standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent for security and delivery purposes.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the application or in legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always show the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Continued use of the application after an update means you accept the revised policy.
